Instagram Removes 'Recent Hashtags' Tab Until Post-Election

Yesterday around 8 PM EST we noticed that none of Instagram's hashtags were appearing. About an hour later, every single searchable hashtag on Instagram displayed the following message: "Recent posts from all hashtags are temporarily hidden to help prevent the spread of possible false information and harmful content related to the election." In fact, there is now no longer a tab allowing users to switch between top posts and most recent posts.

If you missed our story post yesterday, because of this change we are now requesting that you tag us in your images instead of using #boopmynose to submit your media, as we will not be able to go through our hashtagged media for the time being.
